i'm gonna start this post off by admitting something practically everyone knows about me.
i'm a nerd.
i read mitadmissions.org for the blogs every day. i facebook like a fiend. i code like it's my life. i get really psyched for competitions about brains! but what shows that i'm not nerdy? i like being girly. i love the idea of modeling, even though it's reallllly shallow in that it tells people that they are never good enough no matter how skinny and how tall but i think that the message of empowerment it gives, the message of being confident in yourself enough to be able to show in a picture or in a walk, something other than yourself. i find that empowering and charming about it.
i mean, it's like acting. but even more hardcore cuz you don't have words. you have actions. a snapshot. a moment in time to convince the watcher that you believe.

hardcore. i would never survive. but i would want to model something like this ! :
i mean, look at it! it's an endorphin necklace. i love a natural high. i mean, the kind you can get from amsterdam is great but ... LOL no really, i love endorphins and how they relieve pain, make you happy, etc. but to wear endorphins around your neck for the world to see how much you love endorphins? TOTALLY SICKKKK! i want! i need! but i also want/need $ 640.00 to go in the piggy bank for my college education/sat exam/application fees :)
so, some day, etsy: the molecular muse will get my 640 so that i can wear my neuroscience like a pro, but for now? i'll just look at it with an unsurpassed longing. and wait for the day someone will buy me my dopamine charm necklace or the neurocharm bracelet or an assortment of neuroscience based paraphernalia. anythingg in your wildest dreams! except fo' that ethanol! that's really clever thoughhh. :)
the chocolate, however, doesn't look quite as appetizing as the cookies in the kitchen!

(oh, and it's handmade!) i hope someone, like the person who makes these necklaces, sees this so that they may possibly give me a FREEEEEE endorphin necklace. that's like my modelesque dream. better than the "twenty thousssand-dollah diamod ring!" (italia(?) accent!) jade won on that church fashion show ep of america's next top model :)

brain bee studying feels so good. way better than exam studying. im like mellow about the competition. especially after checking out the video from last year and realizing there's only like 50 kids max going to this competition.
very select. very easy for me to get through the paper round. :)
